For over 20 years, Matthew and Kelly Schumann have built a reputation of excellence and dependability establishing Schumann Granite as an industry leader in interior stone design throughout the Texas Hill Country and beyond. In January of 2022, Matthew and Kelly passed the torch to Ransom and Ashley Rust to take over ownership and operations of Schumann Granite. Matthew and Kelly continue to have active rolls within the company. Matthew consults on operations with Ransom and still meets with builders and homeowners to template upcoming jobs. Kelly oversees all sales, purchasing, scheduling and customer relations. She is likely the first person you will be in contact with at Schumann Granite.

After growing up in the construction industry and attending Fredericksburg High School, Ransom went on to attend Texas State University where he obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting and later received his CPA license. For the last decade, Ransom has assisted businesses with their financial and tax needs where he specialized in Construction & Real Estate tax consulting. When presented with the opportunity, Ransom gladly traded in his calculator for a tape measurer and returned to his roots where he leads Schumann Granite as President & CEO.
